This is Yuki Kaori's newest short story published in Hana to Yume's Monthly issue (January 2003). I'll give a summary of the story though it certainly looks like there will be more to this series.
Rion's best friend Shihoko disappeared, she had previously given an address of a club to Rion. By that only clue, Rion came to find the owner of that club Sohou. According to Shihoko, the person she likes is a vampire so Rion naturally brought a cross with her and when she met Sohou, the first thing she did was plaster it on his face.
Needless to say, nothing happened. It took her a while to realize that the whole club was actually full of decorative crosses. Rion explained her purpose to Sohou who immediately clarified that he doesn't know anyone by the name of Shihoko and was ready to kick Rion out. Rion doesn't want to leave and so she grabbed a bottle of wine and slammed it on the ground, indicating that she will stay to work to pay for that bottle.
The next day, Rion who comes to work was told to wake Sohou up. In his sleep, Sohou suddenly grabs Rion's hand and yells the name "Eroline". The result was that he was beaten awake by a large boquet of roses. The night before, when he first saw a strange mark on Rion's neck, he also called her by that same name. When Sohou said that Eroline also had a similar mark, Rion replied that the mark on her neck is not a birthmark but the mark left by a vampire when she was little.
Just as Rion and Sohou were talking, her teacher Suruga-sensei from school came with her father and forced her to go home. On the way home, she heard that Mr. Suruga lived in the same building as the club, and when she looks at the card that Shihoko left carefully again, she saw that the rabbit on the card has a cross drawn on its paw, and Suruga has the same mark on the back of his hand. Rion who now realizes that Suruga is the real bad guy is then drugged and wakes up to find herself tied up together with Shihoko.
According to Shihoko, the serious and righteous teacher turns into a totally different person in private. He dresses in modern fashion and likes to drink girls' blood. The teacher tells his goons to take care of the girls but just then, the workers of the nightclub appears and saves the day. It turns out that they are the real vampires. When Sohou takes off the cross around his neck, his hair grows long and looks just like the vampire that Rion met when she was little. The teacher dies with his blood sucked dry by Sohou, and when Rion wakes up again, she's in front of her own house again and Sohou and his companions are gone, the club also closed and no one knows their whereabouts anymore.
