Cain Hargreaves The current master of the Hargreaves house, inherits the title of Earl/Count from his father Alexis. He is a dashing young man in the London social circle, but rumors has it that he is also the bringer of misfortune, death follows wherever he goes. Unlike most of the nobility that has already fallen from power and are only elite in name, the Hargreaves family is rich and powerful, making Cain the target of his poor relatives. He inherits the family hobby of collecting poison.
	Riff The butler, Cain's trusted servant. He came to the Hargreaves house after his whole family died in a fire and was ordered to become Cain's personal servant. He is intelligent, rational, and most loyal to his master. He knows all of Cain's secrets and there is a dark area in Cain's memory that no one is allowed to intrude except for Riff. He seems to be knowledgable in various sciences that comes in very helpful when they are investigating a case.
	Merryweather Hargreaves Cain's little half sister, and his beloved treasure. If there are anyone in this world that Cain actually cares about, it would be Riff and Merryweather. She is the daughter of Alexis and a random maid, and only ten years old. Her innocence and liveliness finally brought a ray of sunlight into Cain's dark world. She knows nothing about Cain's past and he doesn't tell her either because she is the last person he wants to pollute.
	Oscar This guy... is a weirdo. Cain met him during one of the cases that he was investigating and Oscar was the prime suspect. He's actually the sun of a Baron and a member of the nobility... but you can think of him as the all muscle and no brain type -_-;; He is forever courting Miss Merryweather because she looks like his lost loved one ....... however! the age difference!!! There is absolutely no chance Cain would agree to this. He treats him like a troublesome buzzing fly ^^
	Uncle Neil Cain's uncle and his legal guardian after Alexis's supposed death. He is the strict middle-aged man type who's always yelling at Cain for breaking some rules again, but deep inside he really cares for Cain and he is really one of the few close relatives that Cain still has left. He is a member of the Hargreaves family, although not a direct siblin of Cain's parents, we can assume that he is Alexis's cousin or something.
	Count Hargreaves Cain's grandfather and Alexis' father, didn't get much page time. You only saw him on his death bed and he seemed like a very creepy old guy, uttering something about omenous future. He was supposedly poisoned - thus murdered - by Alexis, his own son and since Augusta is Alexis' sister, I'm assuming she's his daughter then. Hasn't appeared or been mentioned anywhere else besides Cain's one dream, which now makes me wonder why he decided to dream about him.

	Alexis Hargreaves Cain's father and the ex-Count Hargreaves. He drove his older sister insane by having a child with her. Cain's golden green eyes are proof of their incest. When Augusta died, he had decided to kill Cain out of grief but was instead poisoned by his own son. As a result the character "Alexis" officially died and Cain inherited the family name while he was forced to go completely underground, now known as the "Card Master", founder of Delilah.
	Dr. Jezebel Disreali Simply referred to as "the Doctor", Death in the major arcana of Delilah and their executor nicknamed the Soul Taker. He is a child adopted by Alexis and calls him father but he is constantly abused and Alexis never offered him any attention. All the pain that he receives from Alexis turns into hatred for Cain who is still the one that Alexis always kept an eye on. At the bottom of his heart, he is only a very pitiful man who wants a little love from his father.
	Dominique Clay Hadell First introduced to us in Butterfly Bone, Clay Hadell is a famous spiritual medium. Although Cain reveals that the supernatural visual effects he created were only using props, his powers are real. Alexis has been trying to enlist him as Delilah's Magician although Clay Hadell said he will always refuse. He works for Delilah sometimes but do not wish to join them, he hates people who have money but loves to have money himself.
	Eda A Gypsy girl who performs on the streets. Half of her body is burnt and she is an outcast event amongst her own people. The Moon of the major arcana, she is a loyal bodyguard of the Card Master, her weapons is a crescent moon shaped blade. She acts and dresses warrior-like, is very straight forward and basically the silent type. She does jobs like assassination for the organization, is a very lonely character who says the moon is her only friend.
	Snow Owl Rank, ability, name unknown, presumably somewhere in the major or minor arcana. Was referred to as the Snow Owl by his collegues in Delilah, the jobs he's been doing so far have been spying on people or keeping a watchful eye and reporting back to the Card Master about them. He seems to be a very musically talented guy, playing a violin on the roof at night, referring to musical terms in his speech, dubbed Enishi-chan online for the character design.
	The Coffin Guy He is known as the coffin guy because he likes to kill people and then barge in and carry their corpses off in a perfectly sized coffin. He is the Ace of Swords of the Minor Arcana and a character who would do anything to move up the ladder. He is most dedicated to his missions because he wants to be promoted to the Major Arcana, unfortunately he falls in love with the mortician's daughter and dies by the end of that chapter.
	Cassandra Gladstone For every member of Delilah who wants to enter into the Major Arcana, they must pass through a ceremony that will reveal their deepest secrets. Cassandra is the high priest who conducts this ceremony. Through the process when Jezebel became Death, he looked into Jezebel's past and have been making some attempts at Jezebel ever since. In public, he appears as a socially active gentlemen who is well known in the charity circle.
	Rifuel Raffit Better known as Riff who is Cain's loyal servant, in reality, the personality that the good Riff took on is only a fake conjuration of Rifuel under hypnosis. Rifuel killed his parents and brother in a fire and was shot himself in the process. Alexis took him in afterwards and hid his real personality behind a mask and placed him at Cain's side. As the years grew on, the power of hypnosis weakened and finally Rifuel's real personality surfaces as the Tower of the Major Arcana.

	Lukia Cromwell A distant cousin of cain’s who is half-Japanese (daughter of Sir Cromwell's first wife Toko). She appeared to be possessed by evil spirits somehow related to her mother's mysterious death, which then calls the famous medium Clay Handell into service to rid her of them. She is actually a very beautiful and noble girl who feels strong family ties. Later Cain seeks to make her his mistress which inadvertently leads to a chaotic turn of events.

	Abigail The arrogant and harsh second wife of Cromwell. She is bitter over the fact that her husband had eloped with another woman and it was because of her and Sophia that Toko died. She now seeks to get rid of Lukia, attempting to plot something with Clay Hadell. She pays little attention to her own son, Emile, and is unfaithful to her husband. During the séance to rid Lukia of her "possession", she myseriously turns up dead, made to look like it was Toko's ghost coming for revenge.
	Sophia Cromwell Sir Cromwell's elderly mother. She despised the fact that her son married a foreign woman and conspired with Abigail to drive Toko mad and eventually kill herself. Alexis, knowing this and the fact that Sophia is enamored with him manipulates her situation. By alexis' request she invites Cain to her home to lure him to Alexis. Sophia often cries about her circumstance, seeking sympathy. She also despises the fact that she cannot refuse the charming and cruel Alexis.
