Q : Well, Angel Sanctuary will be over soon, how do you feel when you draw? Yuki Sensei : No matter how busy, I still have to do it one chapter at a time, it's still the same. I must say it doesn't feel like count down time. Q : Sensei, do you mean that the last scene will be rather unexpected? Yuki Sensei : ...Unexpected, pretty much (laugh). Q : Either ways, we have long anticipated the ending. In recent scenes Kira senpai is actually Lucifer, Katou courageously meets his end, and the shock continues... As for their fate, has it differed from what you planned originally? Yuki Sensei : In the case of those two, it was completely different. Q : So your mind does change in long series. Of the characters, who do you favor the most? Yuki Sensei : Right now, I don't have any favortism towards anyone in particular. If I must say, it would obviously be the main character Setsuna. Q : Then sensei, what kind of person is "Mudou Setsuna"? Yuki Sensei : Someone who is completely different from me (laugh). Q : That is yet again unexpected (laugh). Q : While drawing "Angel Sanctuary", has anything painful or happy occured? Yuki Seisei : What is difficult is thinking that I am not good at this, and there's a limit to page numbers. To do this twice a month is rather painful (laugh). What I have enjoyed is sharing it with all the readers. This work also realized my various media dreams... Q : About the media, "Angel Sanctuary" OVA is coming out, what do you think about the production? Yuki Sensei : It's very different from my work, if possible I would have liked to do it myself... But that is impossible. It has left my hands and went into another dimension, it's difficult being the original author. Q : I see... Yuki Sensei : Laputa! I just knew that dark Nori is great. Q : You really are visual (laugh). Which comedian do you like? Yuki Sensei : Downtown and the Bursting Laugh Quiz, London Boots #1 and 2 Fujii Takeshi... I've very into it... (laugh). Q : I feel like your laugh is a bit evil (laugh).
