I am shocked beyond words. In all my years following Yuki Kaori's works, nothing shocked me into this completely numb and speechless state. I'm sorry but I can't even summarize for you what happened in the March HY issue - the last chapter of Juda's Kiss, although that name serves the situation perfectly.What I will say... is the following two lines. I think that will speak for all. Riff is a member of Delilah. He is The Tower of the Major Arcana. *the silence that follows* We should call him Rifuel now, Rifuel the Tower who killed his own parents and brother in that fire, who has worked for Alexis from the very beginning, who hypnotised himself into acting like a good guy, who betrays Cain in the climax of God Child. Yuki-sensei, please pity our weak hearts. All I can say is that we all know Yuki's sensei's characters are never flat or one-sided, so I guess the fact that Riff was so good and honest and loyal before this was the biggest foreshadow in itself. The following images were made for my blog, I just thought I'd include them here too. I translated parts of the dialogue into English, what I consider to be classic scenes.
