Kira Sakuya & Lucifer This has to be one of the hot topics, especially now that we are getting closer and closer to seeing the true Lucifer. From what I have seen, people usually treat these two one of two ways, either think that they are the same person and continue loving him after the change from Kira to Lucifer, or else think of them as two different people, which would mean stop reading AS because your favorite character died, or start cheering (like me) because your beloved evil hot guy finally got a chance to come out. Obviously I'm supportive of the two separate person thing. I simply cannot see Lucifer and Kira as the same person when their personalities are so different. I think what defines Kira-senpai is this mentor like older senpai figure who's always there to support you, although he might not seem like he cares, he always gets to the point and helps you out of your problems. My comment is: cool, composed, reliable man who is constantly searching for his true identity. He tries to be human, but he's still a beginner at that. On the other hand, if you look at Lucifer, he lacks all the emotional and warm qualities of Kira-senpai and rather than a lost soul who is searching for identity, he is always in control. Even when he is under Rociel's power, Katan still thought he was impossible to grasp. He treats Kira's memories like data and doesn't hesitate to kill Setsuna or Katou, but really, he's not a bad person ^^;; he doesn't commit evil for the hell of it, and there is an underlying reason why he is doing everything that he's doing but he's just much better at hiding his emotions. Therefore in the end I say he's cold, deep, calculating, unpredictable; completely opposite of Kira-senpai. It would also explain the occasional good side he showed, as few that it may be. Therefore I conclude that they are two separate people, think of someone who hit their head and lost their memory, where they used to be a very evil and cold person but completely changed afterwards (often happens in soap operas/dramas series) and this is what it feels like. I personally loved Kira for his mysteriousness, that "he's going to become someone really important" at the beginning (which ends up being Lucifer), and then loved Lucifer because he is my all powerful geika, then went back to love Kira because he is the one who is Lucifer's soul reincarnated... so I think in all this confusion, I am really in love with Lucifer, and likes Kira because he is going to become Lucifer ^^ however I cannot accept what people say, that they are one and love them all the same Rociel, Alexiel & Katan Hm, it was not my intension to get into shounen-ai but really, no matter how I look at the two guys, it's shounen-ai x.x The most incriminating evidence being that one scene where Katan was reborn and stood in the smoke clouds completely naked, embracing Rociel. Really, I don't buy into that father/son relationship, with Rociel's degeneration and becoming younger and younger in appearance, while more and more unstable mentally, Katan seems more like a guardian over him than a servant. Yes, I see fics, I see shrines, but besides pairing Rociel with Katan, I've seen him paired up with Alexiel too, but the love he has for Alexiel was never sexual in nature, she is simply the closest person to him in the world and even closer than Katan can ever be. I'm sure there is a clear difference of your feelings towards family and that towards a lover. Rociel really loves Alexiel beyond imagination, and that's exactly why he hates her. He loved her so much yet she ignored him and would not return his feelings; it made him angry, isolated and disappointed, which eventually led to war. Setsuna, Sara & Kurai What can I say, I hate all of them ^^ but nonetheless, I thought of something very interesting. Although the two girls both like Setsuna, it's obvious that he only loves Sara and treats Kurai like a little sister. Now my brilliant discovery was that, Sara is really Setsuna's sister but he loves her in an incest relationship, while for Kurai who loves him, he can never return her feelings because she's only like a little sister (brother?) to him... that's so weird -_- Mad Hatter & Asmodeus Both of them are overly obsessed psychos, period. Mad Hatter is obsessed with Lucifer who only loves Alexiel, and Asmodeus is obsessed with Mad Hatter who only loves Lucifer. How can I put it nicely... sadomasochists? The more something is unobtainable, the more they want it and the more obsessed they get. Mad Hatter said it herself, she dreams of the moment when Lucifer would return her love, but then he would not be the man she loves, therefore the moment her love is realized is also the instant when it's over. Alexiel & Lucifer I still believe that they both love each other and came to a happy end, although it was rather vague. I suppose the place where their paths cross is that there is something they value more than love in the world and for that reason, they were enemies. To Lucifer, he wants to destroy God and gain his freedom; as for Alexiel, Rociel always comes first, same as the Rociel/Katan relationship. Therefore in a conflict of interests, they had to face each other in battle, especially at the end in Etenamenki, because Lucifer was the greatest obstacle on Setsuna's path towards becoming the true messiah. But fortunately, it all worked out nicely in the end ^^ |
