delilah

Delilah is the secret society founded by Cain's father Alexis Hargreaves. Its members are divided into three classes: the Major Arcana, Minor Arcana and level 3 operatives, although I do not think that includes their lowest regular goons. The Major and Minor Arcana as most of you probably know, are tarot card decks, 22 for the Major and 52 for the Minor. Therefore in Delilah, Alexis is known as "the Cardmaster".
Delilah is into almost all kinds of illegal activities in Europe, with its base set in London, England. Their works tend to focus on the supernatural and researching forbidden medicine and technology, teachings of the devil if you will, and they are certainly capable of a number of amazing things as immoral as it is. Their illegal activities usually surrounds obtaining funding for such grand an operation, and many families of the aristocracy lost their fortunes for that.
The Major Arcana is the executive class for this organization and not all of its members are known. And we know even less of the Minor Arcana since there are 52 of them and they're not all that important. Below I have listed and summarized the members who are known, and others whom we know to belong to Delilah but do not know their associated card. For all the characters, you can also check the character page for more information.
There is also the definition of their respective cards and an interesting note on how they relate to the characters and their roles.

major arcana

The Magician: Dominique Clay Hadell This is one of my favorite characters in God Child. He's a famous medium with real spiritual powers and NOT a member of Delilah. As many times as Alexis asked him to join, he had always refused, he may work for Delilah at times but it is strictly business. The exact words that Alexis said to him were: Delilah will always have a place waiting for you, the card of the Magician---of the Major Arcana.
card meaning He's a great omen for new opportunities, and signifies the ability to handle situations and circumstances with skill and initiative.
interesting note He is a bit of a trickster, so watch out for deception or the abuse of power.

The Emperor: Alexis Hargreaves This was never said out right, but it was told that Alexis was one of the cards among his own Arcana, and what else can he be but the Emperor. Again, I happen to like bad guys more than good guys (morals? What morals?) and so all these Delilah people have my vote as being the most twisted villains ever. Read their story!
card meaning He's all about achievement, authority, protection, support and all those traits typical of the male provider role.
interesting note At his worst, he is tyrannical, overbearing, untrustworthy and definitely to be avoided.

The Hermit: Dr. Zenopia An old guy who stays in isolated environment going about his research all day long. Fits very well with the card Hermit. What kind of research, you ask? Human research of course. Mainly he was introduced as the person who is capable of doing the various unthinkable operations that Delilah have been experimenting on.
card meaning It's time for some careful consideration, introspection and maybe a bit of time on your own.
interesting note The Hermit can also represent a refusal to accept advice when help would be beneficial.

Justice: Dr. Celes Helena Octavia She is a lesbian, period. A very high up, classy, elegant and beautiful woman. She has many maids whom I suppose are also her lovers. She hasn't appeared much but was said to be quite a monster and lusts for blood. It appears that she is a skilled psychiatrist and one of her abilities revealed is hypnosis.
card meaning Justice represents what's right and fair, the scales are to weigh and balance, the sword to deal the blow.
interesting note Normally, Justice is depicted blindfold, indicating that she's impartial and doesn't get emotionally involved.

Death: Dr. Jezebel Disreali Ah, Cain's archemeny and a most twisted existance in this story. He has an unexplanable hatred for Cain and often would defy orders from above to make attempts on his life. He began as one of the Minor Arcana (card unknown) and remained so for a long time against Alexis' wishes, disliking the "ceremony" one must take to enter the Major Arcana. To the outside, he is Alexis' adopted son, and the executioner of Delilah's internal affairs, known as "the Soul Taker".
card meaning Without endings,we don't have beginnings, so one can look upon this card as a card of new opportunity rather than as a card of loss.
interesting note It's a time of transformation, but the flip side can represent stagnation and refusal to change.

The Tower: Rifuel Raffit Can I say "major heartattack"? Rifuel, or Riff killed his own parents and brother in a fire and then came to Alexis. He agreed to work for Alexis and allowed himself to be hypnotized by Justice into believing that he was a good and kind man (or else he wouldn't be able to fool Cain) and became Cain's closest servant and friend. His real personality is cold and cruel and he likes to taunt Cain for being a childish little brat. (they all need therapy, though that probably won't help)
card meaning Dramatic upheavel, unwanted and unexpected (and often violent) change.
interesting note Severing of friendship.

The Moon: Eda She is a Gypsy with burnt marks all over her body and half of her face which is why she often wears a mask. A very straight forward, silent terminator type who is loyal only to Alexis and acts as his personal guard at times. Her hair is of a different color (light) from all the other Gypses and while her people are an outcast from all nations, she is an outcast from her own people, and only the moon is her friend. She is nicknamed "Lunacy".
card meaning The Moon warns of fears, anxieties, confusion and subterfuge.
interesting note It can also represent the power of the imagination, unexpected possibilities and illumination of a more subtle kind.

minor arcana

Ace of Swords: Coffin Man He's just known as the Coffin Man, so sue me. He is really the only card we know of the Minor Arcana and until his appearance, the Minor Arcana didn't really do anything. He is an assassin who goes around carrying a coffin, thus known as the Coffin Man. He is silent and ambitious, eager to be promoted beyond the Minor Arcana but he fell in love and died in the end of "Mortician's Daughter".

other members

This section is always to be updated as we find out more and more about the Delilah hierchy.

Cassandra The priest who performs the "ceremony" for entering into the Major Arcana, therefore one of the Major Arcana himself, probably the Hierophant or Judgment (something along those lines). He has supernatural powers as well and the ceremony reveals all of one's deepest secrets to him which is why Jezebel was so unwilling. He seems to be on to Jezebel though *sweatdrop* Later on, because he attempted to use Cain to control Alexis, he was relieved from his position as the grand priest and given over to the Hermit for the bettering of scientific research. (ie. brain transplant guinea pig)

Casian Toran Once a class 3 though I think he rose to one of the Minors in the more recent chapters (card unknown). He is quite old, but with a mature mind trapped inside a boy's body. His curse is that he could never grow up in appearance and he worked in a circus before Jezebel found him. He's always been working for him since, but with an agenda of his own. Jebezel tempted him with the offer that he can use some forbidden sorcery to grant him the body of a grown up, and in the more recent chapters where he appeared, it was as an adult.

Snow Owl Dubbed "En-chan" by many because he looks awefully like Enishi from Kenshin. Appeared rather late into God Child and not too often, still a mystery for the most part. He first showed up at the end of Zigeunerweisen playing a violin on the rooftop (fiddler on the roof? x.x;;) and the one job that he showed up on was to observe the Coffin Man and see if he was fit for a promotion. So can we say: music lover and a scout? I assume he has some greater part to play yet and we don't even know whether he's of the Major or Minor Arcana, but I would guess the Major because he just seemed more scary than the Coffin Man in the only few pages that he did appear in.
